What is Oracool X?

Why was Oracool X created?

After years in the mattress industry, we kept seeing the same problem: couples often want different things from one mattress. One person may prefer a softer feel while the other wants firmer support. Oracool X is designed to reduce that compromise.

How is Oracool X different from a normal mattress?

Most mattresses are fixed. Once you buy them, the feel stays the same. Oracool X is being designed with changeable comfort features, a zip-off cover system and seasonal sleep surface options.

Does Oracool X mean one person can have soft and the other firm?

Yes. The concept is based around each sleeper being able to choose a different comfort feel on their own side, such as softer comfort for one person and firmer support for the other.

How do the different comfort levels work?

The comfort levels are created through changeable internal comfort layers. These can be adjusted by hand, allowing each side of the mattress to be configured differently depending on preference.

Do I need tools to change the comfort layers?

No. Oracool X is being designed so comfort changes can be made by hand. The aim is to make adjustment simple, practical and possible at home without specialist equipment.

Can older customers change the comfort layers?

The system is being developed to be as simple as possible, but comfort layers may still require lifting and handling. Customers with mobility concerns may need help from another person.

How often can I change the comfort feel?

You can change it when your preferences change. Some customers may set it once and leave it, while others may adjust it over time as their sleep needs evolve.

Will changing the comfort damage the mattress?

No, provided the system is used correctly and the layers are handled as instructed. The mattress is being designed specifically for this type of adjustment.

What is the zip-off cover?

The zip-off cover is a removable outer comfort cover designed to make the mattress more adaptable. It allows access to the comfort system and supports future replacement or upgrade options.

Is the Oracool X cover washable?

Final care instructions will be confirmed at launch. If the cover or any part of it is washable, the care label will explain exactly how it should be cleaned.

Can I replace the Oracool X cover later?

Yes, replacement covers are part of the wider Oracool X concept. This could allow customers to refresh the sleep surface without replacing the entire mattress.

Can I upgrade the cover later?

Future upgraded covers are planned as part of the Oracool X roadmap. This is designed to make the mattress more future-proof than a traditional fixed mattress.

What is the Summer/Winter cover?

The Summer/Winter cover is designed around seasonal comfort. One side is intended for fresher, cooler summer sleep. The other side is intended for a warmer, cosier winter feel.

Does the Summer/Winter cover work separately for each person?

No. The seasonal cover changes the sleep surface for the whole mattress. It is designed for seasonal use by both sleepers at the same time, not one hot side and one cold side.

Why would I change between Summer and Winter sides?

Many people sleep differently across the year. A surface that feels fresh and breathable in summer may not feel as cosy in winter. Oracool X is designed to adapt with the seasons.

Can I use the Summer side all year?

Yes. If you prefer a cooler, fresher sleep surface, you may choose to use the Summer side all year round.

Can I use the Winter side all year?

Yes. If you prefer a warmer, cosier feel, you may choose to keep the Winter side in use throughout the year.

Does the seasonal cover change the firmness?

The seasonal cover is mainly designed around surface feel and temperature comfort. The main firmness adjustment comes from the internal comfort layers.

Yes. Oracool X is specifically designed around couples who do not want to compromise on comfort. It helps solve one of the most common mattress problems: two people sharing one fixed feel.

Will Oracool X stop couples arguing about mattresses?

We cannot promise to stop every bedtime disagreement, but Oracool X is designed to remove one of the biggest causes of compromise: different comfort preferences in the same bed.

Will I still feel my partner moving?

The mattress will use supportive construction designed to reduce movement transfer. As with any mattress, movement isolation depends on the full specification, sleeper weight and bed size.

Can Oracool X help if my sleep needs change over time?

Yes. That is one of the core ideas behind the product. Sleep preferences can change due to age, injury, pregnancy, weight change or simply personal preference. Oracool X is designed to adapt.

Can I buy spare comfort layers?

Can I buy accessories for Oracool X?
